Yoga & Style

Emily is a creator based on the Connecticut Shoreline. She is the mother of 2 children and spends her time practicing/teaching yoga, and at the beach when the weather permits! She studied French at Connecticut College, and Fashion Marketing at Parsons. As someone with extensive retail experience, Emily loves helping people (usually other moms) curate highly functioning wardrobes that also highlight their genuine personalities (outside of being a parent!) Her own personal style is earthy with some pops of color, and she’s obsessed with slow fashion and pre-owned pieces.

As an E-RYT 500 and YACEP, Emily is dedicated to teaching yoga that empowers and supports every body, at every age. Her experience spans typical adult studio classes, adaptive yoga for teens and young adults with special needs, school-based programs for children, and even toddler and baby classes. Emily believes in the healing power of yoga and sharing it in a way that feels accessible to every person. Yoga has been a source of strength and therapy in her life and a reminder that none of us are alone in our struggles, nor on our journey to rise above them. She invites students to come exactly as they are, trusting that they already have remarkable purpose, bravery, and support within themselves. Her classes may challenge you but, at the same time, give you permission to be kind and gentle to yourself. Having had her own struggles with body image, Emily aims to create a space of body positivity and liberation from oppressive ideals for how we should eat, exercise, and look. She’s constantly learning (mostly from her students and her own children) and never done exploring how yoga can help every individual find autonomy, resilience, and connection. Outside of yoga and fashion, Emily loves writing, swimming with her kiddos, home decor, and New England architecture.
